ProTREE needs your help
The next step is to launch a pilot demonstration project
in Tanzania that will require ProTREE to raise $100,000 in the next few
months. We need to finalize the stove design, develop a marketing
plan for the stove and lamp, and assist villages with increased
Jatropha plantings. We will use the experience gained in the pilot project
to expand the program into many other regions, and to demonstrate project
feasibility to large funding organizations.
It would be difficult to overestimate the benefits and potential impact
of this project. By introducing affordable, locally produced cooking and
lighting equipment to those who desperately need it, not only will their
lives be improved, but a global improvement in environmental quality will
